Two well-recommended attractions in San Sebastian Spain are the San Telmo Museum and the Eureka Science Museum. The oldest museum in the Basque country, originally a Dominican convent, is the San Telmo Museum in San Sebastian Spain, which was inaugurated in 1902. After a four-year restoration, it reopened in April, 2011. It houses a collection of sculptures, paintings, cultural and archaeological artifacts, and audiovisual displays. The new extension was built on a small piece of land in between the historic building’s edge and Monte Urgull’s slope. Now measuring 11,000 squared meters, this museum is the largest dedicated to Basque culture. The Eureka Science Museum is also located in San Sebastian Spain and mixes learning with more than 169 experimental modules. Geared to children ages 4 to 9 is the Txikiklik Room where they can see where forest animals live and explore the five senses. Also unusual is the Electricity Theater, a bed of 10,000 nails, roller coaster simulations, Star Wars, and a planetarium.
